Rivington Dove Grey Kitchen in Malvern

This kitchen in Malvern needed a lot of TLC, the client had recently moved into the property and the kitchen and walls were tired and the space could be utilized a considerable amount more. 

The client chose the Rivington range shaker door in super matt dove grey, the worktops are solid surface Minerva in Ice crystal with matching splash backs and cill. Mr C chose to have an over-mounted Carron Phoenix polar white granite sink with a Brushed steel chelsea Prima swan neck tap. 

At the beginning of the project the whole kitchen was plastered as the walls were in a bad condition. These were prepared ready for the splashbacks and for the client to paint when the kitchen was completed. 

In the design the layout was changed to include a bank of units along one side of the kitchen - larders are great for storage. The fridge freezer was also put along this run with a top box above. To the right of the fridge freezer we had to bespoke make a 200 unit and shelving as the area was shallow due to piping.

In the rest of the kitchen we kept the peninsular area and used curves on the worktops to soften this space. We moved the sink further down the kitchen so there was more worktop space for cooking and preparing next to the oven/hob. As you can see in the pictures we included some large 1000 pan drawers and some 500 pan drawers as again like the larders, they are excellent for storage and accessibility. 

The fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine were re-used in the new design. We supplied a new Montpellier stainless steel single fan oven,gas hob, extractor fan and grey smoke splash back.

The flooring is Quickstep Minimal taupe Ambient click vinyl tile effect flooring.
