Mr and Mrs Corbett
Mr and Mrs Corbett came to us with a damaged kitchen. Unfortunately, due to a natural flooding, they had water damage which meant that all the base units would have to be changed. However this opportunity meant that they could start fresh and choose a door and design that better suited them.
Their kitchen seemed to run smoothly the way it was so we kept most of the original layout. All the units were drawer line, we decided that a better way to optimise the space would be to turn all (except for the ones either side of the cooker which were used regularly) into high line base units and to add a large 3 pan drawer pack in the breakfast bar area. They also chose to have a base wine rack.
Mr and Mrs Corbett previously had a cream cottage style shaker door with large dated boxing around the extractor fan and heavy granite worktops. To create a chic and modern kitchen they chose the Malham Oak solid timber door, a lighter marble effect laminate worktop and went for an integrated extractor fan with a lift up door for a flawless surface.
The clients kept their original appliances, apart from a Montpellier integrated extractor which we provided. As you can see in the images, we used large Malham oak panels to frame the American fridge freezer.
