We completely removed the existing kitchen, appliances and tiles.. only retaining the flooring.
Mrs Dodsworths kitchen is a small double galley and we wanted to make the most out of the space without feeling too enclosed. The client specifically wanted a light handleless kitchen. The handleless design worked well in this area as it eliminated the chances of catching on clothing.
The worktop is a laminate Avola Champagne which is available through our Colonial worksurface range and also through our Egger ranges. This worksurface was chosen due to having square sealed edges on all sides which completely eliminates any chance of water ingress.
The main reason for the kitchen upgrade was to change from a free standing cooker to a built in model. To prevent the room feeling closed in by a tall double oven housing we fitted a midi unit as you can see in the photographs. This retained the feeling of space.
We helped Mrs Dodsworth with a choice of tiles with a splash of colour to lift the kitchen.
The appliances supplied were an Indesit built in double oven, a Montpellier 60cm ceramic hob and a Montpellier integrated extractor.
