The
kitchen was previously a wood effect shaker style door. The kitchen felt dark,
dated and lacked impact.
Our
client was looking for a brighter more modern and sleeker looking kitchen with
plenty of worktop space for cooking. We coupled curved wall units with curved
ends on the worktops to soften the once hard edges of the kitchen.
In
preparation all old tiles were removed and the walls were replastered ready for
the fit including the removal of an old kitchen hatch. Offering a complete
decorating service walls were prepared and painted in the process.
Offering
a complete electrical service we provided some chrome electrical outlets so she
could use the kitchen as a functional living space in the home and unde pelmet
lighting was installed to give the desired overall brighter effect.
The
worktops used were Minerva solid surface which is a durable seamless look
worktop with high resistance to heat, scratching and other elements. Included
were matching upstands and a stainless steel 90cm splashback behind the hob.
Mrs
Tandy also had 2 new Belling single ovens, a Belling ceramic job, a Montpellier
7 bottle wine cooler, a Luxair 90cm curved glass extractor, a Rangemaster cream
composite single bowl sink and a chrome swan neck single lever tap
