Mrs Ainsley kitchen wasn't a nice space for cooking as it had limited worktop space, cupboard space and accessibility. There was originally a dividing arched wall between the kitchen and the hallway to the sitting room. After removing this wall it opened up the kitchen making it feel lighter and bigger.
During the process of removing the wall we re-plastered the ceilings fitting new spotlights throughout.
The important changes to the design were adding in an 1000 pan drawer unit under the sink, a corner unit with a pull out magic corner and a 300 larder unit with pull out baskets. Included was also a pull out towel rail and a box around the boiler.
We supplied a new sink and tap, along with a new Montpellier ceramic touch hob, Indesit built in double oven and GDHA stainless steel extractor fan. This was to replace a free standing cooker.
The Boston door was used which comes in 5 standard colours. The door however can be made to a range of other colours upon request, which in this instance the Ivory was chosen.
Mrs Ainsley chose her own tiles which added to create a unique and beautiful kitchen that was a pleasure to complete.
